What's New at GOAT Leads: Conversations, Add Lead, and Lead Linking

What's new at GOAT Leads - Conversations, Add Lead, Lead Linking

We shipped a batch of updates to GOAT Leads, and a few of them change how you work your leads day to day. Here is the rundown — what is fixed, what is new, and what lands next.

Fixed: Multiple Beneficiaries on a Sold Policy

You can now add multiple beneficiaries to a sold policy in one pass, without errors.

This one matters more than a bug fix should. When the GOAT CRM launches, workflows will be able to market directly to beneficiaries — one of the easiest ways there is to turn one sale into several. Getting your beneficiary information entered now means those workflows can start working for you on day one instead of after you backfill a year of policies.

Added: Accidental Coverage on the Sold Lead Screen

There is a new box for recording additional Accidental Coverage sold alongside the base policy, so the coverage you actually wrote is captured in full — riders included, not rounded off.

New: Conversations — Every Touchpoint on One Screen

Emails, texts, AI bot calls, and dialer calls with a lead, all in a single view instead of four places.

Paid CRM accounts get the full experience, but every account gets something here: the free version shows you the text and the email we send to each of your new leads, and any reply from that lead is captured — so nobody trying to reach you falls through a gap you cannot see. Watch for the red badge in your navigation when you have unread messages.

New: Add Lead

A button on the Leads screen lets you enter your own leads straight into GOAT. Referrals, personal contacts, leads from another source — all of it in one system, worked the same way, reported the same way. Paid CRM accounts can also trigger workflows automatically on entry and manage their own Lead Vendors.

New: Lead Linking

You can now link leads to each other by relationship — spouse, parent, referred-by, and more. When a lead refers you someone new, enter them with Add Lead and link them back to the original lead, so you are looking at a household instead of two unrelated rows. That is the difference between one policy and three.

What Is Coming Next

  • An easier-to-navigate CRM. An updated layout is on the way. The settings navigation will sit right alongside the main navigation, so getting around the CRM screens takes fewer clicks.
  • A Security screen. Change your password and choose whether you want MFA (multi-factor authentication) on your account — your security, your call.
  • Teams. Add an admin to your account to help you work your leads, and add agents to your team — useful for distributing leads, or for buying leads and round-robining them to your agents.

Behind those, the AI Dialer and AI Texting are still the headline items, and the CRM launch is the gate they come through.

Tell Us What Is Missing

A lot of what is above came directly from agent feedback — someone said the beneficiary screen fought them, or that referrals had nowhere to live, and it got built. If something on this list is not doing what you need, or the thing you actually need is not on it, say so.
